A 60-minute guided tour of the entire Museum and all of its gallery spaces.

 

Lafayette: Tracing the Revolution Tour

Dedicating himself to the American cause at the age of nineteen, Marquis de Lafayette would face personal injury, great responsibility, and intricate political quandaries in his pursuit of glory and his closely held ideals—ultimately joining other young soldiers in changing the course of history. Celebrating the 200th anniversary of Lafayette's 1824 return tour of the United States and our new exhibition, Lafayette: A Hero's Return, this guided tour explores the dramatic life and contributions of Lafayette through his relationship with the United States—and compares his experience with those of regular American citizens who served in the war.

 
 

Fees

Admission Fee:
$10/person (*Group, Student, and Senior rates apply for price per person when applicable)

Docent Fee:
1 Docent $25 (for 25 people or less)
2 Docents $50 (26-50 people)

All tours can accommodate a group of up to 50 people, subject to docent availability. Large groups may be asked to stagger start times if only 1 docent is available.

After-Hours Tours
Want the Museum all to yourself? Book an after-hours guided tour of the Museum! After-Hours Tours can be scheduled between 5pm-7pm from Monday-Friday. There is an additional $150 After-Hours Security Fee.

Make a Deposit

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will be sent a link with instructions on how to pay your deposit.

This deposit MUST be submitted 48 hours before your scheduled tour.

**Please do not submit payment until you receive a reservation form confirming your tour**

Failure to submit a deposit by the due date will result in a released reservation of your scheduled tour. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the tour will be fully refunded. Cancellations that occur within 30 days of the tour will result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
